The ₹ 1.1 crore suit was filed over the actor’s comments during a TV interview.

A Bollywood actor who had accused filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of rape today submitted her apology in the Bombay High Court to actor Richa Chadha, following which a defamation suit against her was disposed of.

The ₹ 1.1 crore suit was documented by Ms. Chadha on October 6 over certain remarks the entertainer had made during a TV talk with a month ago.

A day after the suit was recorded, Justice AK Menon inquired as to whether she wished to pull back her announcements against Ms. Chadha. She at that point consented to pull back the said proclamations.

“She (the entertainer) said it guiltlessly. She is a major devotee of the offended party (Chadha) and regards her. She is prepared to pull back the announcement and delicate statement of regret,” her legal advisor had apparently said. “She laments whatever she said and her expectation was never to slander any lady.”

The entertainer today presented an endeavor officially communicating her lament.

Ms. Chadha’s group delivered an announcement today saying she was “happy with the result of the case”.

“The Bombay High Court has acknowledged the assent terms as an undertaking…giving Richa Chadha an unrestricted conciliatory sentiment and withdrawal of all announcements slanderous posts,” the announcement said.

During the TV meeting to a Telugu channel, the entertainer had professed to have defied chief Anurag Kashyap.

“You have offered an opportunity to Richa Chadha, Mahie Gill, Huma Qureshi… they are so ostensible looking, young ladies. For the most part, chiefs don’t give them a possibility yet you have worked superbly. In any case, I am not intellectually ready for this at the present time,” she professed to have disclosed to Mr. Kashyap during a supposed experience.

She likewise said Mr. Kashyap had alluded to Ms. Chadha as somebody who seemed to be “only a summon”.

Ms. Chadha’s protest had said that these remarks had made harm her generosity in the entertainment world and brought about her mortification.
