Winning five seats in the Bihar elections has surely given the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) renewed confidence. The party is preparing the ground to contest in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections next year. After successfully contesting in the elections in Bihar, when asked if the party would contest in West Bengal, party chief Asaduddin Owaisi had declared that they would not only contest in West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh but also wherever MIM can become the voice of the voiceless.

Addressing TNM, Vakeel Ahmed, the Tamil Nadu State President of the AIMIM, said that the gathering is completing a review in the state. He stated, “An overview is in progress to recognize where everything we can battle and win. We will challenge around 25 to 30 seats. In north Tamil Nadu, we have a fortress. In Madurai, Krishnagiri, Vellore, and Tirupattur we are getting acceptable help. We had challenged from the Vaniyambadi seat last time.”

Asaduddin Owaisi revealed to TNM that the gathering has not settled the number of seats it will challenge so far. At the point when gotten some information about a potential union in Tamil Nadu, he stated, “The political conditions in the state will be chosen by the state unit of the gathering.”

Talking about a potential coalition in Tamil Nadu, Vakeel Ahmed stated, “We’re in talks with some ideological groups. The AIADMK isn’t so much a choice as it’s in a union with the BJP. A third front is additionally a chance. We are in talks, all that will be uncovered at the opportune time.”
